Community Meeting

The Mid-North Association and the Lincoln Central Association will join me in hosting a community meeting regarding the proposed re-use and redevelopment of the Lincoln Park Hospital property located at Lincoln, Webster and Geneva.  Both the hospital building and the parking garage would be redeveloped. 

Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 6:30PM at the Lincoln Park High School Auditorium.

The new owners of the property will present modified proposals.  They are proposing using the existing buildings for a mixed-use development that would include senior living, residential and retail. 

Minutes from a previous meeting are provided on the Lincoln Park Hospital blog where residents can track all of the the proceedings.  Site plans and other information will be posted there as well.

An important part of this new email system allows for the targeting of email to more specific recipients.  By clicking on the "Update Preferences" link at the bottom and providing your information, my office will be able to notify you of items of interest that are specific to your own block. 

For instance, the 2000 block of North Kenmore will have some parking restrictions for a photo shoot today through Thursday.  If addresses are provided, I can send out that information to residents of that block in advance without advising the entire ward. 

You can also indicate whether or not you prefer to receive any political mailings.  If you do not wish to recieve my notices about fund-raisers and/or candidates, please indicate that on the same preference page.
