St. Vincent dePaul Center

The annual Outreach Event is November 15th from 11AM  - 1PM featuring a sit down Thanksgiving meal for the homeless clients.  St. Vincents is looking for winter items (men's coats, hats, gloves and scarves (new or used)) that can be distributed at the event.  If you would like to donate clothing and or volunteer at the event, you may call Molly Savage at 312/943-6776 x 2220 for more information.

The annual Santa Mike Event is December 12th.  This event focuses on the children of the center as well as the senior clients.  Santa joins us during the day to distribute presents to every child at St. Vincent's (over 400 children) and then helps host a sit down dinner for over 100 senior citizens later in the evening.  Donations for both the children and seniors may be made to the "Santa Mike Fund" at St. Vincent dePaul Center.

The annual Holiday Hope program provides families, both at St. Vincent dePaul Center and at Marillac Social Center, with items such as toys, clothing and household goods during the holiday season.  We ask for donations of unwrapped items to help our classrooms, to help assist at-risk senior citizens and to meet the needs of numerous homeless men, women and families that come to us for assistance throughout the year.  All donations may be dropped off at St. Vincent dePaul Center.  This year we are looking for items such as:
